Hypocrite

I have slowly and painfully realized that people who wear their ideals on their sleeve screaming loudly about liberty, progressiveness, equality and justice to anyone and everyone who is willing to listen are usually the ones who do not even understand what each of those things means.

And, they cannot accept being told that they might be possibly wrong. For them, the entire world and all of creation can be wrong - it is impossible that they are wrong.

Sigh!

All I can do is just write on my blog. Welcome to the real world!

...and hence, you go by what people do, and completely ignore what people say, except when you want to judge their hypocrisy levels.

and live happily with peace of mind ever after.

Something like that, yes.

But, then again, few really care to listen. And, fewer still examine. Almost no one understands.

In essence who cares.

And, we play identity masking all over again. On an aside, why don't you just say who you are instead of having an unreachable profile page, refusing to hint reasonably at your real-life persona.

Just a girl you probably don't like very much. why worry about my identity, you can just know me as someone who comments on your blog.

Errrm...!

The only girl(s) I don't like very much is(are) Rakhi Sawant and Britney Spears. But, sometimes when I have too much to drink, I have been told that I sit in a corner and sing "Hit me baby one more time" quite loudly and completely off-key.

alright. now that you've said that. im a numbskull. that's all. but you probably knew that already.

and britney is awesome. if they dont autotune her voice, her songs are rather awesome.

Ah, ok. Hi there...

I don't know if I was rude on a comment previously, but if I was, then apologies. As usual, I would have had several drinks too many ( I strongly believe that one too many is quite pointless).

But I am guessing that in NYC/Irvine or the USA it is a little more easier to get along because you don't have a language barrier.

yes, way easier to strike up random conversations while waiting for/on public transportation. or in bars.
you've not been rude on a comment, but i've consistently got the impression you dont like me too much and i didn't care enough to change that. anyway. hi there!

I wonder why. But, NYC, eh? Is it actually like what the movies/sitcoms make it out to be or a total bummer that way?

it's way more awesome than any sitcom you've seen. the things those sitcoms take for granted, we people find decidedly wonderful. a train from anywhere to anywhere else every five minutes, grid-style city planning which makes it so much easier to navigate, so many tourist spots within a stone's throw of your workplace, infinite choices in shopping and things to do, areas of the city dense with history, the anonymity of a big city, unlimited bars to have cheap yet good cocktails in, and even though you know not more than two or three others in the city intimately, you never feel alone. that's a big deal after having lived in suburbia for three years.

it is expensive as hell, though, unless you know where to look. rents really are too damn high. but when you have enough to pay the bills, and enough juice in you to enjoy yourself, it's great.
